OK guys and gals, what calls do you use and in what situations.

I use gadus acrylic, and dynze for both open water and marsh and field for ducks.

I have used nothing but my Zink Poly Carb Power Clucker for goose this year, and I don't see any reason to change at all.

I will have a Zink Power Hen for next year for field and marsh that's for sure

Rob,
Which Scobey goose call are you using?

I cut my teeth on his short reed.

I blow a little man (call) when the geese are close and a PM-1 when they are out there. I various duck calls, BGB Timber, and Two Gadus calls.

Been blowing the ZINK PC-1 since I won it here. Dang- I love that call. My first ZINK, won't be my last. I want to try the LM-1 and the SR-1. Also want the XR~2 and the Power Hen. I think I'm Zink crazy now! Still love my other calls but I keep the PC-1 in my lunch box and blow it on my way to work. I take it with me when I go to Baltimore, MD to see the wife. You should see people's faces when I pass them doing 85mph blowing on a goose call.......looks like I'm hittin' the pipe...hahaha!! Thanks Capt. Mark for awarding me with the Zink call, you introduced me to a new life.....ZINK life!!!! P.S. where can I get a hat or shirt from Zink.

You guys should blow a Little Man (LM-1) if you get a chance. I have an SR-1, Power Maximus, and Little Man, and choose the little man over em all. It's real easy to blow, you don't need a lot of air, and it's LOUD and high pitched, sweeeet call!!

-For ducks I use RNT acrylic & Cuttdown double reed acrylic.
-For canada geese I use a acrylic Foiles SMH, Winglock Delrin & a acrylic Heartland X-out.
- For snowgeese I did use a Haydel's, but I'm looking at some new calls. Also use up to 7 Foxpro's.
- Also looking at a new speck call, probably a Sean Mann.

I got 3 calls on my lanyard

2 are tried & true! A Duck Commander Reacher IDENTICAL to the one Stan mentioned, he tuned it for me. It wont stick at all and is pretty ducky, and a Haydels Timber Cutter that is pretty smooth and I did well with this past season

my new gem is a Zink XR2 Acrylic.......i've emailed sound clips to a few guys and have gotten good feedback on the sound, but i keep working on it....it takes a bit of a different air presentation than other calls- seems to take a lot of air, but its a good sounding call

if i stumble upon some $$ i might get me a Zink Power Hen- but thats iffy

I use a southern game calls Sentinell for goose. I use whatever cheap duck call I can afford and like the sound of. Right now I'm blowing a bill collector. Hopefully by next season I will have some extra money and can be blowing some Foiles calls. Sorry Zink guys but I'm looking for freebies or discounts.
