12 gauge savage single shot.Paid $25.00 for it from my neighbor and used it for years.Later I sold for $50.00 <img src="/images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">.I used that money to buy a savage double barrel o/u .still own this one.

Franchi 12ga Semi Auto 26' vent rib barrel. Bought it used when I was 13. I still remember the feeling. Still have the gun and use it for upland game.

Started out using the family single shot 16ga. Bought a 16 Ithica Featherlite my senior year in high school and still have it 37 years later. Sweet little gun, but kicks the heck out of ya with mags.

Mossburg model 183 .410 bolt action. Still have the gun and wouldn't sell it for the world! Haven't shot it in 5-6 years but still like to remember those early days in Minnesota as a kid.

WesternField 410 single shot. 1961 sold by Montgomery Wards. Shot a lot of ducks and geese with it. No one told me that a 410 was not a waterfowl gun. Wish I could still shoot that good! Jim

the first one used was a .410 bolt action mossberg...my step dad's gun....then my gradfather gave me a imported 20 ga. single shot...my sister has it now....first one i bought was a winchester 1400 ranger semi-auto...sold it after one year because it jammed all the time....

Winchester Model 37 single barrel, it was tradded in on my Mossberg APTR 500 that I still have today. Wish I could have afforded to keep the model 37 but thats life. <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

Stevens 20ga pump, got it in a little hard ware store in Des Moines Iowa well when dad purchased it, I was 8, still have the gun but the stock is way to cut down for me to still shoot it, I'll hold onto it to start my kids.
First gun I Payed for was a ruger red label O/U when I was 15, traded it on a benelli three years later.

Mine was a single shot .410 from Sears, I still have it and on the butt plate it has the Sears logo on it.

That being said, how many people remember Sears selling guns?

I bought my first high power rifle, a Rem. 700 BDL in 30/06, from Sears. Well, actually, my father bought it for me, but it's was my birthday money. I shot my first deer in PA at 17, and alot of groundhogs with that rifle.

My first shotgun was a break action Stevens 12ga. with a Tenite stock. I believed it weighed about 4 lbs. It killed from both ends. My little brother has that one now.

H&R Topper 12 ga. single shot. I think I shot my best with that gun. I new I only had one shot and if I missed I would go home with zip.

Started with the family 16 ga single and sxs. MY first gun was a 12 ga single shot H&R for deer hunting. We didn't do a heck of a lot of wingshooting. Mostly groundhogs, bunnies and deer. Didn't start duck hunting until I was ~33.

My first shotgun I bought myself with hay baling money. It is a Mossberg 500 12 GA. I still have it. It looks like hell and has synthetic forearm and stock now. The stock cracked after I dropped it when I slipped on ice.

My next shotgun was a Winchester 1400 semi auto 2.75 chamber 12 GA. Great gun. Traded it tho.

Next was a Winchester 1300 12 GA. I hated it. Traded for my Remington Express 12 GA.

Bought a Weatherby Orion 20 GA O/U for upland. Sold it. Not enough land to upland hunt on anymore.

My newest gun is my Winchester Super X2 12 GA.
