Well, where are all dead deer from this weekend?

My daughter and I had a last minute change in locations this weekend. We ended the weekend with seeing 17 deer including two doozy bucks. I had shots at both bucks but of course I didn't have the gun. She ended up missing a small doe.

The weekend ended when we watched 5 does, thee really big ones, come in and stop at about 50 yards...on the wrong side of the creek. We didn't have permission to hunt that side. She had an awesome rest of a down tree and would have center punched her.

Oh well, we had a blast and made some great memories.

Young man harvested his first deer in our woods last night.

Hell, I about cried he was so happy. Hopefully he never forgets this moment.

Had a buck trot through at about 50 yards. Couldn't get him to stop. So no shot taken, but got the boys blood pressure up. My buddy brought his kid for his first deer hunt. He had a buck and a doe come in to about 40 yards. Unfortunately he missed. Didn't go out Sunday due to some other obligations.
