I found a pair of D-9 Victor Duck Decoys. Manufactured by Woodstream Company. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about them. Any help would be appreciated.

They were made back in the late 1960's through the early 1970's. I still have a few around here that I used to gun over. Ouch , that hurt..lol

I have a bunch that I used and some that have never seen water. Good to excellent condition they might bring between $15 - $30 tops. They were good in their day and rode the water like crazy and moved VERY well. They were also noisy and shiney. I have a couple of them that I have painted from one species to another and they held paint great. You alway could tell when anyone was setting up with these from the noise they made when someone was throwing them into the water.

Dick

Might rethink the painting idea... they might be worth some $ to your great grand children someday if left original.
