<P style="MARGIN: 0px">I have a great place very near the high school I teach at.&nbsp; I pulled the trigger on what I figure was an 18 pound tom with a 7 inch beard standing at 28 paces................twice................that bird skulked away onto a nearby pine knoll and started gobbling again.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">I got up and found the wads and each of them had one petal peeled back like a banana.&nbsp; I've never noticed that before.&nbsp; I had that bird centered up pretty as could be.&nbsp; I know I'm not the greatest shot, but I've never missed a bird that close before, actually I've never missed a turkey.&nbsp; The wad must a have trashed my pattern.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">I hope I see those birds again tomorrow.</P>
