You miss a duck you just wait for the next flock a few minutes later.

You can shoot the bull with you buddies and be interupted by an oppurtunity to shoot birds.

Duck hunting doesn't involve steep hill climbs.

There's no race to set up on a single duck.

Sleeping in a Finisher Blind is really comfortable.

#1 reason is I've never gotten a tick on me walking somewhere to shoot a duck.

Some of the reasons posted are good points, but I am just as addicted to Turkey Hunting as I am to Waterfowling. While Turkey Hunting I get to study a variety of different settings while sitting there as opposed to a marsh or lake.

Dick

Yeah, and I have warm waterproof camo for duckin. It would be a little hard to climb very many hills in neoprene. I prefer duckin, but it is a thrill to have that gobble vibrate your bones

Duckin is alot of fun. From a pure hunting standpoint though not even close. You tellin me parkin some tubs of lard in a boat and motoring out to a blind, throw out some decoys and smoke & joke all morning beats turkey hunting? I suppose dropping a bird out of the sky involves some kind of magic wand too?

OK, how'd you do the quote thing?

Thanks

Turkey hunting is fun don't get me wrong. Just those dang dirty birds seem to get the best of me. Went out yesterday and had 4 toms and 2 hens coming in and just as im about to click off the safety a truck comes down the road and stops to watch. The turkeys of course didn't like this and took off at a sprint towards the woods. Gonna try my honey hole in Belmont county tomorow morning. Same farm where I killed my double beard so hopes are high but we'll see.
