after duck season was over I parked my boat in my garage for the winter. Do any of you guys do anything special as to motorizing your motor for the winter from the time duck season is over till the time you start to fish in the spring?

I use a outoard until jan 1st than back in the water in march, I just add fuel stabilizer. If longer than that i fog the engine just like my jet ski...

Guys, what does fog mean? Your also telling me that I should add the fuel stabilizer when I start running her again this spring. Thanks for your responses to a novice boat motor owner.

fogging is spraying fogging oil into the cylinders or the carbs. you put the fuel stabilizer in when you are done running the boat for the year. it doesn't allow the fuel to break down. also a good idea to store the boat on a full tank. no room for water to condense in the tank.
