Nice! See any brant?
No Brant but did see Buffleheads
That's a lot of money to spend to kill buffies. When you can limit on them everyday at Kelly's. Just say'in. And in a couple of weeks, anywhere on Erie.

Not sure if you don't know what buffleheads are, but he's the one that mentioned them.

By the way, not a bad day, if there's only one guy shooting.

I understand wanting to go sea duck hunting, if your into them it's a lot of fun. I went a few times my self on DIY trips. We wacked them.

Kinda like snow geese, right?

I mean, I understand wanting to go snow goose hunting, if your into them it's a lot of fun but it a lot cheaper and just as easy to kill 10 birds a day or so with a few guys right here in Ohio. Just sayin.

So dude goes on a hunt, experiences things he probably never has before, shoots some nice birds, enjoys the company of Pitboss and gets to bs with him, sees a historical duck hunting area and you berate him.

Not everyone can be as awesome as you.
Not everyone has all the equipment to do a DIY hunt like this, as you obviously do.
It just must be awesome to be you......

Yep, he mentioned Buffies.

Said nothing about shooting or hunting them, you did. The relativity of your remaining tirade is clear as mud in comparison to the original post. Makes zero sense.

We all know what Buffies look like Dan_O, appreciate the insinuation of my ineptitude though.

Thank goodness the title of "Best Waterfowler in Ohio" is taken by you......

Don't think any if us could handle such a lonely capacity.
I hunted with Pitboss once and I can say watching his dogs was worth every penny we paid. I would've never even thought about letting my own lab into that water and his labs dove out of that boat like there was a steak waiting for them. Waves crashing over their heads all the way. They didn't care. Incredible dogs. Absolutely incredible.

Coot was by far the best working dog I have ever seen
We all know Dano has no use for a dog. He can swim from Kelly's to North Bass for a Buffy! MJ
I had the pleasure of hunting with Jeff last season. Top notch guide and like others have already said, watching his dog was worth the cost of the trip.

That is who was working for us that day. She was a gem. Even for guides I believe she was in a special category.
Lets have a math lesson everyone....
Boat insurance----360
Tags--------------30
Fuel bill ----175
Fuel for truck------100
Maintenance boat---100
Broken gear--------100
Boat Payment-----2000

Total Cost 2865

2865/400day = 7 hunts...

dont blame anyone paying to hunt cause even the DIY pays for it
