RAVENNA DEER HUNT

11/28 doe only. Unless they changed rules from last Saturday.

I was on the speaker phone with my dad when he asked if they could shoot a buck on that date and they said yes.

I'll be there tomorrow. This is the info I'm referencing from the ODNR site: The Department of Defense charges a $5 administrative fee to each participant. Eighty-eight pairs of hunters will be chosen to hunt each day. This is a shotgun only hunt. No muzzleloaders or handguns permitted. Applicants should note that they will be randomly assigned to the either-sex hunt on 11/21 or the ANTLERLESS-ONLY hunt on 11/28. The either-sex hunt will be conducted in the traditional format with one hunter entitled to a deer of either-sex, while the other hunter is limited to an antlerless deer only. Both the permit holder and the partner will be limited to ANTLERLESS DEER ONLY on 11/28.

No, I hunted it a couple of weeks ago with my daughter. I traded my permit for a 1/8 Mosquito muzzy.

I was there today. It was a doe only hunt ! Why you would try to deceive hunters for a trade saying Buck hunt is beyond me ?? (Even listed on ODNR Site as doe only) You sir have ZERO integrity and morals , very sad.

Only youth could shoot either sex yesterday. I was there along with JP and our boys could shoot either sex. They did that because they wanted them to get a deer

Actually Ravenna allows youths to harvest bucks on all hunts even women's hunts - you just need to ask at sign in.. very cool !
