    <P>I HAVE A 1756 XPRESS DB WITH A 50 HP. I AM LOOKING FOR A SMALL HP MOTOR JUST FOR A&nbsp;BACKUP &amp; LIMITED HP LAKES.ANYONE HAVE A A KICKER ON ON A BOAT THIS SIZE .I WAS THINKING A 6HP BUT I AM NOT SURE IT WOULD BE ANY ENOUGH OR ANY BETTER THAN A TROLLING MOTOR.WE HAVE A 44 LB ON IT KNOW.ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT A 44 LB TROLLING MOTOR WOULD COMPARE TO (2.5 3, 5 9.9 JUST THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP)</P>

    I believe, though I may be mistaken, that a 2.5 horse is something around 150 pounds thrust or a little greater. If it was me, I'd shoot for a 6 horse or something like that.
