What would be the age of those decoys? I'll bet they'd have some stories to tell if they could talk.
For those of us who don't know and don't collect, can you tell us more about these and the reference/meaning of St. Anne's?

St. Anne's Hunt Club was/is located in the St. Clair Flats .

Bill Enright was commissioned in the 1940's to create a rig exclusively for this Exclusive Duck Club .

I am a big collector of Enright decoys , the St. Anne's decoys he carved for the club are the rarest of all of his decoys.

Another sleeper from the St. Anne's Hunt Club rig made by Enright just sold for:

Luck you...I used to work at the Butler Art Museum in Youngstown and they have a small collection of vintage hand carved wooden decoys stowed away in one of the storage rooms.
The design style and build of these looks allot like some of the ones in their collection.
Congrats....very cool. I remember years ago an old gentleman I met and got to talking Duck hunting back in the day....told me about his grandpa weeding out some of his old decoys and burning them in the fire place....every time I see old time decoys I thing of that story and shake my head.
very cool!
