I was wondering which one you guys had more luck with, a drake or hen? I have some places that I think the mojo will help out, just wondering which one I should get. Thanks,

                                    Eric

Drake.... they are the more confident bird than the hen is, drakes will pretty much come into a spread when easier with another drake there and or a hen. But the drake is a much more inducing decoy. I have a lot of luck with a drake spinning wing up to the point that everyone starts to use them, then it's better not to use one at all and call very very very little. The birds get call shy fast and get use to the spinning wings quick too. Doesn't take long for them to figure out, Wow another spinning wing, I have been shot at every where I go that has a spinning wing. I don't think I will go near that spread. Try it, you'll see, almost everybody has one now, and most are over used.

I myself use a Drake and have had great success. I will tell ya make sure you spend the extra $$$ and get the remote installed that way you can turn it off when the geese come in without making them flare. Also with the factory installed remote it has a few different speeds rather than just wide open..

i have a drake that we use it works great for the first few times out but after that the birds get wise and tend to stay away from it

as far as a hen or drake i don't see why it would make a big difference

just my .02
