Hunted Ohio Jan and feb once a week! Grouse have been rough to say the least! Not many birds this year or last year 2-3 flushes a day! Managed one bird on last day on the way back, that felt good!

I DID ALRIGHT ON THE LAND IN ADAMS COUNTY CLEAR CUT SOME MOUNTAIN SIDE AND IT HELPED ALOT OF THE WILDLIFE.

Steve from Canton and myself hunted chukkar at Wooster Hunt Club this am. Our hats go off to Steve McMillan who runs the club. We had the perfect day and we got all but one of our birds. The high winds made for some challenging and fast shootin. They hunt till the end of this month and restart in mid October. The dogs we had were great. Will be back there to run my setter over them chucks. What a great way to spend the morning.
