<P>as a taxidermist it is funny how the price for doiing this profession is all over the place. some guys charge alot and some hardly enough to cover their costs. so how much does yours charge? and are you happy with his work?</P>

<P>Just picked up my pintail today he charged 175 and I'm happy with it. Will post up pics when I get back home tonight.</P>

<P>The guy who does my mounts charges $180.00 a duck and anywhere from $250.00 to 350.00 a goose.&nbsp; He does a great job!!!&nbsp; Just got back my black duck looks to darn real.&nbsp; The year before he mounted a Canadian for me, I swear it blinks!!!&nbsp; Before this guy I was paying $100.00 a duck, lets say you get what you pay for sometimes.&nbsp;</P>

<P>john koza.....$25.00 mallards $20.00 wood duck $15.00 for a teal. back in the 70"s when i got most of mine done. now $125.00 pintail mounted standing ,and it took a year????</P>

<P>right now on duck i charge 175.00, and 180.00 on geese but that will change this fall to 180.00 on ducks and 230.00 on geese. turkeys are 425.00 pheasant and grouse are 175.00 and will stay that way. thanks for asking</P>
