didn't want to get in trouble, so i posted here <img src="/images/boards/smilies/bawl.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"> where can i find some good spices to make the jerky you are talking about? does the place in the southwest have a web site tony? dewayne, bring some to the sale in april and i will try it<img src="/images/boards/smilies/rofl.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

Hey Phil,

Go to Gander Mountain in Niles. They have a nice section for cooking/smoking/grinding and every other thing you can think of. They have grinders, jerky shooters, dehydrators, the spices and cure...EVERYTHING! I'd get the smallest packet of flavoring spice you can and try different ones until you find what you really like.

Our favorite for goose jerky is the Wyoming Recipe at Gander Mountain or Cabelas or a lot of grocery stores now. Original or mesquite.
