Food Plot ... SUPER SIZED!
We inter seeded a 3 way mixture of annual ryegrass, rape and crimson clover last September into standing corn with an air seeder mounted on a Hagie high clearance sprayer. The results were fantastic, we got the cover crop we wanted and the deer got 500 acres of prime winter pasture!
Yesterday, I sprayed it with Roundup/2,4-D to kill it off for spring planting. The deer I kicked up off the fencerow were hog fat.
