<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Hey Guys,</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">I have been saving some Composite Decking Scrap for a couple buddies of mine.&nbsp; </P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">One of the deals I made with them for the supply&nbsp;of Decking Scrap (free) was to give me a couple of decoys for my spread.&nbsp; The picture below is one of the decoys that they gave me.&nbsp; </P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px"><IMG alt="" hspace=0 src="http://www.geocities.com/miduckhunter/hooker.jpg" align=baseline border=0></P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">The picture does not do this body any justice as the feather detail is awesome.&nbsp; They are made from Urethane Foam but not burlapped, so I am not sure how nice they will stay.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">My buddy is shooting over 12 dozen of these exact decoys which took him over&nbsp;a year to get.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">They are pretty nice don't you think?</P>

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Tony,</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Thanks!</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Just curious take a look at the picture below.&nbsp; I bought seven of these decoys about 3 years ago.&nbsp; They are urethane foam, pontoon style with glass eyes.&nbsp; To this day I have found nobody who can tell me who may have done these.&nbsp; Can you help me out and possibly tell me who may have done these?</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px"><IMG alt="" hspace=0 src="http://www.geocities.com/miduckhunter/unknownscaupweb.jpg" align=baseline border=0></P>

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Tony,</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">They are a little bit shorter and a little bit wider&nbsp;than a #63 Herter's.&nbsp; I can take some measurements when I get home if it helps.</P>

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Those are a TJ Hooker. I'm holding one in my hand now. If I knew how to post a pic I would. There has been a guy showing up at Pt Moulee with some bootleg ones. If you flip it over it should say TJ Hooker in the back bottom by the keel. <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Tony,</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">I have two friends that have added some new foamers to their rig.&nbsp; One friend bought Jack Ring's mold and is casting his own.&nbsp; The&nbsp;other has 12 dozen of the one that I posted in&nbsp;my initial post.&nbsp;&nbsp; </P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Just on curiousity alone, I am going to call my buddy that&nbsp;gave me this decoy after work.&nbsp; Maybe I am just confused.&nbsp; (Not the first time.)&nbsp; He had mentioned the word Hooker when he gave me the decoy.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">I appreciate your input.&nbsp; To this day I have never heard nor seen&nbsp;a Hooker Block.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P>

<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Tom,</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Thanks for the e-mail.&nbsp; I sent you back a reply so you know where to send that picture.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">What you mentioned pretty much sums up the decoys in the second photo (two decoys) I posted.&nbsp; To resolve the problems with heavy heads&nbsp;a previous&nbsp;owner had made pine keels and screwed strap weights to the bottom of the keel.&nbsp; I removed the keels from the decoy body so they would sit better on a shelf.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Thanks.</P>

<P>Tom,</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Thanks for posting the picture.&nbsp; Tony was correct!</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Looks like I have to call the guy that gave me that decoy.&nbsp; I maybe confused....</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">I know&nbsp;two friends added&nbsp;decoys to their rigs this year.&nbsp; One being the picture you (and I) posted.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The other&nbsp;decoys were made by Jack Ring who lives in the area.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">&nbsp;</P>

<P>The decoys that goosewa pictured together (bluebill and sleeper bluebill) are not TJ Hooker birds.&nbsp; Those are Wild Water Decoys.&nbsp; Hope I could help with some of the confusion.</P>
