<P style="MARGIN: 0px">Saw my first poults today for 2005 going to work. Saw another hen later at 11:00 a.m. Then coming home at 11:40 saw the same first hen 50 feet from where I saw her at 7:45 with the poults still feeding close to a major highway.</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px"> </P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px">Been turned into a goose hunter though since May 16 th. Can't wait. My Dad told me tonight he wants to go goose hunting one more time on the first day (He is 82 and with failing eyesight). Told me he wants to go whether he can shoot or not. I hope it is a tremoundous hunt for him.</P>
<P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Weather has been great up north for breeding and poult survival this spring. Hopefully, this will turn the population back upwards in Ashtabula county!!</FONT></P>
<P>My girlfriend saw 6-8 poults last night on one of my properties. Nice warm and dry weather equals a good poult survival rate!</P>
