So you got up early, and went through all the motions required for a morning in the duck blind, or lay out boat or field spread. What is your "must stop" place before heading home? We like our breakfast at Peninsula restaurant in Marblehead (the best home fries!?!) or a clam chowder and perch sammich at Terry's Tavern in Bay View. When travelling down towards Columbiana County, we used to hit Pinkies (Not a titty joint!) for either a steak sammich or a cod platter!. There has to be ton's of greasy spoons and back water dives frequented by the fraternity of Ohio duck hunter's. What is your must stop establishment to quench your appetite? And for those who pack in a lunch, or do lunch in the field, what does your routine consist of?

Stockards in Thompson Square.....the big breakfast....eggs, cakes, bacon and sausage with a side of biscuits and gravy.
Further east, I like the Andover Diner.

Capt. Mark, you reminded me of Fairport Harbor and Brennan's Fish House. Froze to the bone coming off that wall and a bowl of their red fish chowder, a perch sammich and a couple of dark Dabs on tap helped warm the cockles!!!!

Grew up 1/2 mile west of there on Thompson Road. Always go after a good hunt on the Thompson properties I hunt. I enjoy the place, but the waitresses aren't always the nicest. Good chow though. Especially the sausage gravy.

Rayz on the bay- formerly Terry's Tavern. Just ate there Tuesday and the menu hasn't changed; They are doing some remodeling though.
