I saw something the other day i never thought i would have ever seen before. I was at a job site working and it was just at the end of lunch and we were standing by a set of double doors. One of the guys at work said hey look there is a coyote, mind you we are pretty much inside the city limits of cambridge. Well the coyote messed around on the hill for a little bit before disappering over the hill. It was not 2 minutes and all of the sudden here came two deer running with the coyote on there tails. after the deer ran off the coyote stayed on the hill for around 3 hours. to me that is amazing i have never seen anything like that in one before all i am can figure is that starvation was setting in. Two days later i was not there but the guys told me there was two of them on the hill side.

A year or so back, I read that in Maine, biologists estimate that coyotes take 25% of the fawn crop each year.
