I know this should be on the calling page but I thought I'd get a bigger response here.
Anyways, I will be running the Crane Creek calling contest this year again, and a few guys that I have been talking with have mentioned that we should have a 2 man meat duck calling contest.

My question is how many guys here would enter this contest, now you don't have to be a world champ at calling just be able to call ducks into your blind, meaning thats what a meat competition is just that you call as if you were hunting. So how many would.

I think this would be a Great idea. Not only are these contest fun to watch, they can be a great start for those that are looking at getting into contest calling and can get you much needed stage time.

If you have never seen or participated in a 2 man contest, they are nothing like a sanctioned contest. Contestants are allowed to move about the stage and both callers complement each other just as if you were sitting next to them in the blind.

These contests are great fun and often team member will be on more then one team. So if you can find the right guys you can do pretty well at these contests.

I too agree that a 2 man Goose contest should be a must as well.

Guys like I have said before, if you have ever wondered what it would be like to contest call or have what it takes to bring flock after flock into the blind these contests are just what you need. Besides you can usually walk away with some pretty good Prizes too.

In a perfect world, I foresee an sanctioned open duck, a $1,000.00 goose that qualifys the winner for the International and Avery Worldwide points, meat duck, and 2 man duck and goose. Throw in a junior duck and goose too.

I guess there is not going to be a "Perfect World" anytime soon, seeing as there is no longer an AVERY WORLDWIDE point system and calling contest, and need MANY MORE THEN THE 5 CALLERS that called last year to even think about wanting to get involved in the International event.

First off the sound bits you send me sound awesome, and what you send me is what you would do in the contest, its a meat contest, you call in it like you would at ducks. Believe me if I have enough judges, and another MC I'm gonna find me a partner and get in. I have never been in a 2 man meat contset aand I can't wait to see it and or call in it.

That's what makes the 2Man Meat Calling Contests Fun. You don't have to be a contest caller to play in these things. If you can blow a call in the blind and have a buddy that you can call with you a golden... These are really just for fun contests amongst the guys and a Great chance to walk away with some cash and prizes.

Think it over, we have a bit before the time comes. We just want to see what we get for a interest in this and to let guys know this is something we want to do so you can find a partner or 2 and start working on the calls.
