I have the revolution and the hercules. I've hunted my rev. for a few years now, serial #001. I was having trouble towing it the first year. After talking with them about it, the following summer I did some R&D. I was using a War Eagle w/ a 90hp for a tow boat and started playing with the distance of the rope. When we were done, the layout was 1ft. back and running WOT, about 44mph on the GPS. When I switched to a lund w/ 115hp a couple years ago, I used the same bridal w/ the same results, although, the lund didn't have as much top end.

What happened with my set up was, where the wake breached the surface in the center behind the boat, it worked out to be in between the noses. This worked to keep the layout up higher, eliminating any spray in the cockpits and also worked to keep it centered and tracking perfectly.

One note, you can't play silly games, you have to hammer the throttle and get on plane, if you don't have enough hp to do this, it may not work for you. I'm not sure what kind of tender/tow boat you're working with.
