#1 son was up for the weekend from OSU. He did a couple of assorted dove poppers that were absolutely devoured by our other guests. I still like the ones he did with water chestnuts, but the crowd favorites were the ones he wrapped in bacon, along with a slice of jalapeno and a pineapple chunk in the middle. All grilled on charcoal and served with a Ponzu dipping sauce. The non hunters will never support an anti dove hunting measure in their lives after feasting on them tasty tidbits! BTW, left leftover clam chowder on jasons friends' lake house door step after Saturdays clambake. Open with care after this heat!!
