I am taking a friend out in the morning as well.

---We had 14 inches of snow two days ago, took a guy hunting during the storm saw a couple birs but they would not move!! one was a double bearded tom,a pair of long beards!! yesterday in the am, we were set up in deep snow!!!couple gobbles, the snow was hard and crusted. At 830 they really went wild! we had 5 different toms going in 20 min, a pair of long beards ,both single beards came in through the snow in the bright sun shine the snow had sofened so it wouldnt hold the birds, what a sight!! they would fall through the snow, heads and tails left in view. he shot the tom at 21yds. it had a 9" beard and no spurs, the other bird had a shorter beard, but after looking at the video, he had great spurs!! all on tape , for a day I thought would be wasted. turned in to a real exciting hunt in 14" of snow the toms came in from 1/4 of a mile we back tracked them cant beleive the didnt fly in but walked in!! ---
