    More common in the past 10 years on inland lakes in Ohio. We shoot a few most years.

    Good question about knowing what it was when the trigger was pulled! I certainly hope it wasn't killed at Mosquito on Friday.

    by the way a ruddy is 1/2 the size of a scoter. That looks like a hen white wing. We get 15-20 scoters a year.
